Busted
Friday, March 07, 2003

Dear Journal:

I caught him. It’s all a major technicality that he just so vaguely forgot; the rule book. I busted him. I will get what is rightfully mine and I don’t care if I step on people’s toes to get it. The Game has provided me with a Check Mate. Who ha! That’s all I’ve got to say about you, mister. You’re going down and you’re going to give me exactly what I want, or you’ll never achieve tenure. Yes sir, you will not achieve your tenure if you don’t cooperate with me and come to the understanding that it is me you’re dealing with.

I am the powerful entity. I can make mountains move if I wanted them to. I feel no shame when I embarrass people for shame is one of the basic human feelings. I love the way Dr. Gosse mapped all of this information out for me. Please click here for a picture of the diagram.

You may think that this is an extremely delusional idea in regards to how humans live their lives, but if you actually take it into context you see its very meaning. For example: When you are angry/mad with someone, you are angered out of fear; the fear that you will be left all alone because of your anger, or your fear is that your anger will engulf you and make you a miserable person. This is something that our brains, or as stated by Freud, our “Ego’s” do in the background allowing you to function on a daily basis. The 2% of us who feel no fear are the crazy ones. They are the true nut bags, whacko’s, whatever you want to call them: they are insane. Why? Because they don’t have a clue as to what is going on around them.

I always cognitively think about this chain of events and how this will play out in The Game along with the following rule of Three…

1. Constant Re-enforcement

2. Ratio Re-enforcement

3. Inconsistent Re-enforcement

You must play the game with that rule in mind. If you don’t, you end up losing to your opponent and in that you will find nothing but pain, fear, suffering, and all that one could see as unbearable by any standard.

With him, it will take constant re-enforcement to manufacture the idea that I won’t budge with my opinions, knowledge, or intellect. I am a bull; you dare stop me, you put your life in jeopardy. If you challenge me, you better stand your grounds because guess what bud, you’re in for the ride of your life. And we’re not talking a fun ride; I’m talking about a ride filled with anguish and frustration. A ride that torments your very essence and tortures your every move. Kind of incomprehensible, don’t you agree? To think that all of those things could lead up to the ultimate thing: I am always right because I am the customer and if you want my business you will become a conformist.

Challenge me all you want. You’re only hurting your chances for respect and tenure. I guarantee it. I follow through with my word. I am a man of honor and when I say that I will do something, please believe that it will be done in any manner that I deem appropriate. You can do it my way or you can take the highway, but just remember the highway doesn’t always lead you into the sunshine filled abyss of glory that you think you have ascertained by pissing me off.

Respectfully Yours,

Dustin T. McCauley, Future Doctor of Pharmacology and Internal Medicine
