Update: PSALMS??
July 07, 2003   12:33 A.M.

Dear Journal:

I just got off of the phone with Nicki. I'm not as depressed as I was, but then again it's all the BiPolar bit there. I'm proud to announce that I've created a new look for my journal and revamped my IMood service and counter service too! Check it all out. As soon as I possibly fathom the time, I will take OUT the e-mail me link and replace it with a website showing an image of my e-mail address that you'll have to click like 89 times to get to because that will cut down a shit load of my God Damn SPAM.

I'm not religious at all, however I do find these words comforting in times of need...

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.

Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrend to His will; this I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23)

After those comforting words, it is now time for Dustin to go and be a good little boy and do his homework. Oh, yippie-skippie!
